What we collect
We collect as little as we can.

- Email. If you subscribe to the newsletter or sign in to take part, we store your email address and use it only for that. We measure newsletter opens in aggregate. We never sell your address or share it with advertisers.
- Comments. A comment is stored under a pseudonymous handle, never your email address, which is never shown.
Advertising
Where United Federation of Tea Taxonomy carries advertising, it is labeled and kept separate from the editorial pages. We do not run a third-party ad network: advertising sets no tracking cookies and builds no profile of you, and it never influences what we write.
What we never do
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, build an advertising profile of you, or publish your email address. We do not use dark patterns to keep you here.
